Partition wall are non-load bearing walls that separate spaces in buildings. As well as spatial division, they can provide; privacy, acoustic and fire separation and flexibility of layout.
It may potentially be hazardous to the occupants if it is left unchecked. Without proper laboratory test for partition wall used in a building, it could affect the safety, comfort, and durability of the building materials.
Partition wall testing is important because manufacturers, developers and consultants can understand the characteristic and behaviour of the wall under vigorous testing in the lab before being build on-site. The test report on the partition wall performance such as strength performance, fire safety, water impermeability, thermal conductivity etc can help manufacturers and developers to ensure that the product is safe and fit to use
TÜV SÜD Malaysia and global laboratories are accredited by national and international standards that provides various testing for partition wall consist of dry wall, lightweight concrete wall, AAC blocks and autoclaved aerated lightweight concrete, clay brick, dry wall, partition board, lightweight concrete wall, AAC block, AAC wall panel, precast wall, IBS wall, non-load bearing wall, BS5234 Part 2, SS492, gypsum plasterboard, fibre cement wall, wall partition system, CIDB IBS, Jadual 6 Sistem innovative, prefabricated bathroom unit, PBU many more.
The test conducted in compliance with international standards and methods such as SS492:2001, BS5234 Part 2:1992, ISO 8302 or any other standards that are required by the local authority. With our accredited test report, manufacturers can meet with the local authority requirement such as CIDB, CIDB IBS, JKR etc
