Future in Your Hands
At TÜV SÜD, more than 28,000 colleagues work together for a safer and more sustainable world. Since our beginnings 150 years ago, we have grown
constantly. Today, we work with customers in over 1,000 locations. Our colleagues across the globe have inspected, tested, advised, and issued certificates for approximately 574,000 products, services and systems to date. Our global footprint and industry experience enable us to set the benchmark for international standards.
We accompany progress. To keep the rapidly changing world secure, we must always be there, following the developments with a dedication to safety and sustainability.
That is how we shape the future, by setting standards and the guiding principles by which countless inventions and innovations are brought to the world.
We must have the curiosity to explore and capture new opportunities, remaining open-minded to keep customer needs at the forefront. However, this must always be grounded in the responsibility we have to independently make the right call in the best interests of society – and the assuredness to explain our decisions clearly to the customer. Above all, we strive to support each other, creating a solid work environment built on respect and fairness.

Ahmad Ameer, Assistant Technical Manager, IEP, Malaysia
“My inspections help improve customers’ future design by ensuring that they have a better understanding of what is wrong in the design or in the machine fabrication. This involves comprehensive explanations to the customer when delivering the findings. While this requires additional effort, it is an investment to build trust between the customer and myself.”
Hoy Huy, Lead of the ENE Engineering Team, Vietnam
"As part of TÜV SÜD, I strongly believe in collaborating with colleagues of diverse backgrounds to bring the best value of our clients. Through open exchange, discourse and sharing of experiences in this changing market, I can learn how my colleagues deal with these challenges from their unique perspectives. This provides me with new solutions to give the best solutions when dealing with new requirements from our clients."
Wargono, Business Developer at MHS, Indonesia
"As part of TÜV SÜD, I am a strong believer in sustainability. I see the opportunities for certain products to be recycled and have begun providing suggestions regarding the use of environmentally friendly materials and energy during sales meetings or audits."
Bunyarit Hemtanon, Commercial Manager, Thailand
“I am responsible for industrial and transportation products testing in Thailand. My role is to ensure that products meet the required automotive standards to help automotive manufacturers mitigate their business risks and enable their access to global markets. It has been so rewarding to witness the growth of our business from the beginning. I am confident that we will continue to be a leading solution provider and reliable expert to the local automotive and EV product manufacturers.”
Patrycjusz Idzikowski, Business Line & Team Manager for Structural Engineering, Germany
“As a structural engineer who tests amusement park rides, I sometimes feel as if TÜV SÜD is just a giant playground for me. Almost by definition, if something comes to us, it’s because the client is trying something new. Perhaps they want an existing ride to go higher or faster, or maybe they have a prototype for us to test. Because of this, we end up handling a lot of new technologies and get a sneak peek at where the future is headed. Even if the technology is not new for us, it’s new for our clients, which is also exciting!”
Peter Yang, Assistant Sales Manager, Malaysia
“I am responsible for the sales and business development activities in the Real Estate & Infrastructure (RI) Division in Malaysia. As part of my role, I help ensure safety, sustainability, and reliability of our clients’ building construction products through our multi-disciplinary expertise. I’m glad that my job has an impact on consumer safety and environmental sustainability.”
Shridhar Ravikumar, Executive Consultant for Advanced Manufacturing, Singapore
"Being at a company like TÜV SÜD brings me immense pleasure. I enjoy fostering trust with clients, empowering them with the latest technology trends, and helping them to identify the impact these technologies can have on their business so that they can reach the highest benchmarks within their industry. Our team members come from diverse industries and backgrounds, but together as one we have the shared vision of bringing our clients to the next level."
Beng Yang Ong, Business Line Manager Industrial, Energy Products, Singapore
“I’m a business line manager responsible for the certification of commercial products. This means my team is often the last port of call before any product under the commercial umbrella reaches users. One of my proudest moments was when we supported Singapore in their fight against COVID-19. We helped our industry write the safety and quality guidelines for the production and distribution of materials such as nasal swabs and face shields. In the grand scheme of things, I played a small role, but it was an important one with direct impact. Everyone in the world wanted to help somehow – and I was actually able to do that.”
Ariya Phakagrong, Auditor for Medical Health Services, Thailand
“I audit the safety, performance, effectiveness and regulatory requirements of medical devices. With technology moving and developing so fast, it’s up to me to stay updated on the latest advancements. For example, the COVID-19 outbreak saw the launch of different in vitro diagnostic kits for testing the presence of COVID-19 or its antibodies, which required us to understand the technologies involved before auditing. New technologies in the medical device industry help improve lives, but they can only do that if I can test them to the highest and strictest standards!”
Faizah Zainodin, Manager of Marketing Operations (Website), Singapore
“I lead the global website team and we are responsible for the strategy, management and development of a content management system that globally powers our websites. The website is an important channel and is the heart of our online interactions with our customers. To successfully launch 42 sites globally, we trained more than 200 content authors and adopted an agile project management approach. Working closely with our global colleagues across functions while collectively working towards a common goal is one of my most fulfilling achievements.”
Tran Minh Tai, Senior Auditor for Environmental Services, Vietnam
“In my job, I am responsible for conducting audits on Quality, Environment and Forest Stewardship Council certification (FSC) and support our customers to build more sustainable businesses. We ensure that companies stay updated with the dynamic international standards and that their products do not negatively impact the environment. I am proud that I can help to expand the FSC certification services of TÜV SÜD across the Southeast Asia region and thus contribute to preserving natural resources.”
Dhina Puspita, Sales Manager for Management Systems, Indonesia
“Being a part of the Business Assurance department gives me the opportunity to meet clients from various industries which not only broadens my personal horizons, but also enables me to share the best solutions TÜV SÜD can provide. For me, having a diverse team is not a challenge, but an opportunity. I want to elevate the potential of each member as we grow TOGETHER as a team.”
