    Functional Safety Automotive Training and Certification Program, trains professionals to have complete understanding and updated technical knowledge of the safety related systems that the ISO 26262 standard accounts for.     TÜV SÜD South Asia has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Ansys in order to improve the overall learning experience of the participants with regards to Automotive Functional Safety ISO 26262. The MOU offers a framework to TÜV SÜD in India to enhance its comprehensive training program on ISO 26262 Automotive Functional Safety by providing an understanding and access to Ansys medini Software, a simulation software tool to the participants.

    Ansys medini analyze software implements key safety analysis methods — hazard and operability (HAZOP) analysis, fault tree analysis (FTA), failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA), failure modes, effects and diagnostic analysis (FMEDA) — all in one integrated tool. The solution automates the analysis and verification of functional safety for electronic control systems. It helps to implement step-by-step modelling, analysis and verification processes that conform to applicable safety standards.

    Ansys medini analyze offers state-of-the-art analysis methods bundled in a model-based environment, including:

    • Safety analysis and design for E/E systems and SW-controlled functions, specifically tailored to the domain-specific standards ISO 26262, IEC 61508, ARP4761 and MIL-STD-882E
    • Integration of architectural/functional design with methods for quality, reliability and functional safety analysis
    • Support of operational situation analysis, hazard and risk analysis (HARA), functional hazard assessment (FHA), FTA, FMEA, FMEDA, FMECA probabilistic reliability analysis and hardware failure metrics

    The functional safety certification can be obtained by enrolling and attending our instructor-led training program. Post completion of the course, participants would require to attend an examination containing multiple choice questions to obtain the certificate. Participants scoring above the passing criteria would be awarded the certificate.

    After successful completion of functional safety system audit for General Functional Safety Management, System/Hardware Functional Safety Management, Software Functional Safety Management and FSM Audit (project Specific), organisations will be provided a Q4B Certificate.
