The course introduces the fundamental concept of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), a methodology for assessing the environmental impacts of commercial products across their entire life cycle in accordance with ISO 14040 and ISO 14044 standards. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of LCA procedures and discover opportunities to leverage LCA in improving sustainability. The course provides a solid foundation for professionals looking to enhance their knowledge and skills in environmental sustainability practices and regulatory compliance.

WHAT IS THE COURSE METHODOLOGY?

The course will be conducted in face-to-face format with a duration of 6 hours. Participants will learn through lectures, case studies, group exercises and discussions. There will be one project-based assessment held at the end of the course to reinforce learnings.

WHO IS THE COURSE ADVISOR?

The course content and structure are designed by the domain experts from TÜV SÜD.

This training is delivered by Ms. Sun Na who has over 15 years of experience in the environmental sector managing carbon projects under different international mechanisms since 2009. At TÜV SÜD, she works on the development of Life Cycle Assessment and Product Carbon Footprint service in ASEAN sustainability hub. As a lead auditor, senior project manager and technical reviewer, she worked closely with governments, carbon credit buyer, project owner, consultancy firms & NGOs etc. for a variety of GHG reduction projects. 

Ms. Sun Na also embraces a sustainable lifestyle which has positive effect on mental well-being. As a life coach, she helps people to make progress in their lives to attain greater fulfillment and achieve their highest potential.
