Transition training courses provide the knowledge of the changes to a revised ISO standard and the skills to audit against the revised standard. It is recommended for professionals working in organizations certified to an ISO standard that has been revised (e.g. ISO 14001), or those looking to work with a newly revised standard.

There is a balance between knowledge-based presentation, discussions, exercises and case studies. About two third of the time is spent on activity-based learning.
There is continual assessment of delegates in order to evidence to CQI and IRCA that the delegate has demonstrated the required skills. There will also be a test attainment of the knowledge-based learning through a 60-minute written test on an individual basis. The knowledge-based test is open standard.
Certificates will only be issued to participants with 100% full attendance.

This course is designed for persons responsible for implementing and maintaining the organization’s environmental management system, and all first, second, and third-party auditors.
Prerequisite:
Existing Auditors/Lead Auditors of EMS are required to provide necessary evidence of successful completion of IRCA registered or equivalent Auditor/Lead Auditor course of ISO 14001:2004.
