As consumer awareness of environmental sustainability grows, companies are increasingly eager to demonstrate their commitment to this cause. This has led to a surge in communication about the environmental impact of products and services placed on the market.
Voluntary environmental labels have been created to support comprehensible, transparent, and science-based environmental communication. Additionally, regulatory frameworks such as the EU Green Claims Directive are being implemented to prevent greenwashing and enhance the credibility of sustainability claims. Many governments also offer tax incentives and financial benefits for businesses that adopt certified sustainable practices, further encouraging environmental responsibility.
This webinar will explore various types of environmental labels used to certify sustainability, focusing on the ASEAN region, and examine how businesses can leverage these certifications to strengthen their market position and benefit from tax advantages and regulatory compliance.
