France: Updated standard list for Decree No. 2003-158 for rotary agglomerated abrasive products intended for grinding and cutting operations published

MAY 2020 – RELEVANT FOR: HARDLINES

France has recently published the updated standard list for Decree No. 2003-158 for rotary agglomerated abrasive products intended for grinding and cutting operations in Notice JORF No. 0117 of May 13, 2020¹. The new list below will replace the old one in previous notice.

For compliance to Article 3 of Decree No. 2003-158:

Index of the standard	Title of the standard
NF EN 12413 (October 2019)	Safety requirements for bonded abrasive products
NF EN 13236 (April 2019)	Safety requirements for superabrasive products
Other standards	Standards adopted by the national institutes of the Member States of the European Union or of the other States party to the agreement establishing the European Economic Area or of Turkey, transposing the corresponding standards.

Products fulfilling the standards in the previous notice can still be put on the market for a year from the publish of this notice and marketed until stocks are exhausted.
