On 10 May 2023, France published the updated standard list for Article 4 of Decree No. 99-7771 for deck chairs in Notice JORF n° 0108 du 10 mai 20232. The new list will replace the old one.
Deck chairs for adults meeting the definition of Article 2 of the decree and able to occupy one or more predefined positions by means of a crutch:

Products fulfilling the standards in the previous notice can still be put on the market for a year from the publish of this notice and marketed until stocks are exhausted. The standards adopted by the national standardization institutes of the Member States of the European Union and of the States Parties to the Agreement establishing the European Economic Area or of Turkey, transposing the corresponding European standards, are recognized as equivalent.
