Networking, Mentoring and more


The Women’s Network is a grassroots imitative to promote the advancement of female employees within TÜV SÜD. Started by a group of women passionate about empowering other women in the organisation and supported by several local ambassadors, the Network offers women and men throughout the organisation a variety of initiatives, including:

  • The provision of in-house and external mentoring and coaching
    Mentoring and coaching is cited by women as being one of the most instrumental ways that have helped them build their career. The Women's Network mentoring program has already supported over 25 individual women via C-suite championing and mentoring and has an annual intake of 20 new mentees.
  • Career-focussed social networking
    Providing a network of information and online exchange platforms both inside and outside the organisation is an important step in building and shaping your career. As ever, it’s not just about what you know, but who you know.
  • Internal and external training for topics particularly relevant for women
  • Tie-ups with likeminded, external women’s networks such as Global Digital Women (global-digital-women.com)
    The Women’s Network has grown from strength to strength and has over 600 members worldwide. It’s sometimes hard to visualise potential career options in a large organisation such as TÜV SÜD.

The Women’s Network has made that task easier by showcasing role-model women in various positions across the world. It’s packed full of helpful hints on how to navigate your path from those who have already walked it.
