2025 年 11 月 5 日，韓國科學技術情報通信部（MSIT）發布第 2025-56 號公告，制定最新技術標準，要求特定類別的資訊與通信設備（ICT）必須採用 USB Type‑C 母座連接器，作為有線充電與資料傳輸的統一標準。
該規範適用於欲申請 MSIP 合格認證 的新設備，共涵蓋 13 類產品，包括手機、平板、耳機、筆記型電腦等。此舉旨在促進介面一致性、降低電子廢棄物。
根據公告，下列設備若需獲得 KC 認證，皆需配置符合要求的 USB Type‑C 接孔：
本規範將自公告發布日起 一年後生效，製造商需於 2026 年 11 月前 確保所有新申請認證的產品符合相關要求。既有認證則繼續有效，除非日後有更新或變更需求。
本技術標準將每 三年進行一次檢討，以確保其持續符合技術演進與市場發展的需求。
On November 5, 2025, the Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT) of South Korea issued Notification No. 2025-56, introducing updated technical standards that require the use of USB Type‑C receptacle connectors for charging and data transmission in a wide range of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) devices.
This regulation applies to new devices seeking KC conformity certification, covering a total of 13 product categories, including mobile phones, tablets, digital cameras, headphones, laptops, and more. The goal is to promote universal interoperability and reduce e-waste through a standardized connector format.
According to the official notice, devices in the following categories must be equipped with a USB Type‑C receptacle to obtain new MSIP approval:
The regulation will take effect one year from its promulgation date, giving manufacturers until November 2026 to ensure compliance for newly certified products. Existing certifications will remain valid unless subject to updates or modifications.
The standard will be reviewed every three years to evaluate its relevance and effectiveness in line with ongoing technological developments and market needs.
