韓國無線電研究機構（RRA）於2024年11月8日發布了第2024-1028號公告，宣布自2025年2月14日起，在韓國銷售的13類電子設備（包括移動智能設備）的充電和數據傳輸端口將統一採用USB-C連接器類型。

• 筆記型電腦（因技術原因，生效日期延遲至 2026 年 4 月 1 日）

South Korea: RRA Mandates USB-C Standard for Charging and Data Ports on Electronic Devices Starting February 2025

The Radio Research Agency (RRA) issued Public Notice No. 2024-1028 on November 8, 2024, announcing that, starting February 14, 2025, the charging and data transmission ports for 13 categories of electronic devices, including mobile smart devices, sold in South Korea must be standardized to the USB-C connector type.

The list of regulated products is as follows:

• Mobile phone
• Tablet
• Digital camera
• Over-ear headphones
• Headset
• Portable gaming console
• Portable speaker
• E-book reader
• Keyboard
• Mouse
• Portable navigation device
• In-ear headphones
• Laptop (effective date postponed to April 1, 2026, due to technical reasons)
