巴西Brazil：INMETRO修訂冰箱合格評定要求，允許使用IEC 62552-3:2020標準測試

2025年5月19日，巴西國家計量、品質與技術研究院（INMETRO）發布第278號法令，修訂第332號法令中有關冰箱及類似器具合格評定要求的規定。

根據新規定，製造商可選擇依據 IEC 62552-3:2020 標準，於 16°C 或 32°C 環境溫度條件下進行測試。

製造商生成的測試報告須提交至認可實驗室進行獨立測試與結果比對。

此外，在2025年12月31日或之前停產的冰箱型號，可在2025年期間免於進行維護測試。

若某型號在該日期之後仍持續生產或進口，則其2025年維護或更新階段將需依據 第500/2024號法令 所規定的新測試方法執行。

本法令自 2025年5月19日 起正式生效。

Brazil: INMETRO Revises Refrigerator Conformity Assessment Rules; IEC 62552-3:2020 Testing Now Allowed

On May 19, 2025, Brazil’s National Institute of Metrology, Quality and Technology (INMETRO) issued Ordinance No. 278, revising the conformity assessment requirements for refrigerators and similar appliances under Ordinance No. 332.

The updated regulation allows manufacturers to conduct performance testing in accordance with the IEC 62552-3:2020 standard, using ambient temperatures of 16°C or 32°C.

Test reports generated by manufacturers must be submitted to an accredited laboratory for independent testing and result comparison.

Additionally, refrigerator models that are discontinued on or before December 31, 2025, are exempt from maintenance testing during 2025.

For models that continue to be produced or imported after this date, the 2025 maintenance or renewal process must follow the new testing procedures established in Ordinance No. 500/2024.

This ordinance entered into force on May 19, 2025.
