Recently, the Hong Kong government proposes to adopt the most current safety standards published by the associated standards organisations for toys and three classes of children’s products listed in Schedule 2 (“Schedule 2 products”) under the Toys and Children’s Products Safety Ordinance (Cap. 424).
Public comments on the proposal was being collected by the Commerce and Economic Development Bureau until 31 December 2017.
