This is a blended learning course that consists of two components:

• The first phase of the course requires that you successfully complete the TÜV SÜD Academy self-paced, digital ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System (EMS) Awareness. This digital component MUST be successfully completed at least 24 hours prior to the start of internal auditor portion of the course.
• Phase two is an instructor-led course on internal auditing that meets in an online classroom. Students will be free to engage with the instructor and ask questions regarding both the ISO 14001 awareness course and internal auditing. You will be registered to begin ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System (EMS) Awareness when you submit payment for this internal auditor course.

This internal auditor course prepares learners to perform internal auditor activities, evaluate your organization’s environmental management system (EMS) for regulatory compliance, and draft quality reports while suggesting corrective actions when necessary.

The ISO 14001 standard provides a systematic framework for integrating environmental management practices by supporting environmental protection, pollution prevention, waste minimization, as well as energy and materials consumption reduction.

PART A:
Participants must complete the 1-hour self-paced digital eLearning module before attending the instructor-led session in the virtual classroom. You will gain access to the self-paced content 2 weeks ahead of the scheduled virtual classroom session.

The online self-paced module of this course employs a variety of training tools such as content-embedded assessment, animations, and other interactive exercises to enhance instructional delivery. Easily accessible via your preferred choice of device, the course allows you to log in and learn whenever, wherever.

The content is supplemented by clear video sequences. With free time allocation, participants determine their own learning pace and check their learning success with the use of brief knowledge checks. Please be sure to have covered the digital self-paced modules before joining the instructor-led training session in the virtual classroom.

PART B:

The 1-day instructor-led training sessions isconducted in a virtual classroom. This means the course is Live Online. Participants will learn through online teaching. Lectures, case studies, group exercises, discussions, problem solving, examples with explanation, assignments and/or quizzes happen in the virtual classroom training. Participants need to connect to the class from any internet accessible location. Each module is delivered live using webinar technology, creating a virtual classroom learning environment. Live sessions provide you with direct access to the trainer so you can ask questions, understand complex concepts and share ideas with peers. Webcam and microphone are REQUIRED to interact with the instructor and/or other participants.

The course content and structure are designed by the domain experts from TÜV SÜD. With immense experience and knowledge in the relevant standards, our team of product specialists and technical experts at TÜV SÜD, developed the course content based on current business landscape and market requirements.

By performing exercises and group discussions, attendees will develop a hands-on understanding that will facilitate the understanding and the implementation of knowledge and concepts.

Attendees must attend both days and successfully complete the exam to receive the TÜV SÜD Academy Internal Auditor Certificate.

Learners must obtain a copy of the ISO standard to be referenced during the course. The standard may be purchased through the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) (www.ansi.org) and/or American Society for Quality (ASQ) (www.asq.org).

Priorknowledge of the ISO 14001 standard is required to excel in this training.
