ISO/PAS 8800 – Essentials to Achieve the Safety of Artificial Intelligence in Automotive
Implement AI elements acc. to ISO/PAS 8800
Based on our long-standing practical experience in the field of Functional Safety, we will provide you with the necessary knowledge and expertise about the new ISO/PAS 8800 dealing with "Safety and Artificial Intelligence in the Automotive Industry". The use of AI elements is becoming increasingly important for advanced driver assistance systems and automated driving functions.
Existing standards, such as ISO 26262 (Functional Safety for Road Vehicles) and ISO 21448 (SOTIF), do not deal with the topic of AI, or only to a limited extent. The newly published ISO/PAS 8800 has now been introduced to close these gaps.
In this training, you will be introduced to the topic of AI and take a detailed view into the content of the ISO/PAS 8800. You'll connect the activities needed to fulfill the ISO/PAS 8800 with the processes defined of the already existing standards.
Managers, safety managers, system developers, sensor and component developers, quality officers, test engineers and anyone who is involved in the development of innovative driver assistance systems (ADAS) and automated driving systems (ADS) and wants to implement AI elements into the systems or needs AI solutions during the development or deployment of a road vehicle or road vehicle component.
