This two-hour course is divided into 2 parts, Part A “EMC Basics” and Part B “Common EMC Tests”.

Part A provides the learners with basic concepts of EMC, source of EMI, coupling mechanisms, key parameters of EMC, near field, far field, common EMC units, real world components, EMC techniques in product design and troubleshooting.

Part B covers 11 common EMC tests, in terms of test objectives, test setup, testing equipment, testing facilities, as well as test pass fail criteria.
