Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt Training and Certification Program

Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt (CLSSMBB) is the top level in the Lean Six Sigma competency hierarchy. TÜV SÜD’s Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt program is best suited for Black Belt certified professionals who -

Participants applying for TÜV SÜD's certified lean six sigma master black belt training must have completed a globally accepted Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (CLSSBB) training. Six sigma master black belt certification is awarded to a candidate by TÜV SÜD once all requirements have been met, including class activities, project submissions, and passing the examination.

Candidates are required to pass a multiple-choice question (mcq)-based online examination measuring the comprehension of TÜV SÜD’s Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt Body of Knowledge. The duration of the examination is 150 minutes, with 70 mcqs, offered in English.

The six sigma master black belt certification is based on a continuous assessment process. There are three elements with different weightage that needs to be fulfilled to achieve TÜV SÜD’s Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt training & certification.

1. Examination- 50% weightage (achieve a minimum of 70% in the examination)
2. Class Activities- 20% weightage (Successfully complete all the class activities like role plays, training, group exercises etc., assessment will be done by the trainer)
3. Project Submission- 30% weightage (Complete and submit at least 3 Lean Six Sigma projects covered during and after training, in this requirement too, trainer’s assessment will be final)

Once a candidate meets all the above requirements post their successful six sigma master black belt training, the Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt certificate will be awarded by TÜV SÜD.
