Certified Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Manager 1.0
This qualification is intended for graduates and professionals working in the HSE field to enhance their career in the field of HSE, with certification based on the final assessment.
The scope of the scheme is to assess the competency of the candidate who demonstrates knowledge of Health and Safety functions and is certified as per defined criteria. This scheme is developed in compliance with ISO/IEC 17024 for ensuring International Standards for the certification of persons.
Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) qualifications are certifications designed to provide individuals with the knowledge, skills, and competencies required to manage health, safety, and environmental issues in the workplace. HSE qualifications are typically offered by accredited training providers and can range from basic awareness-level courses to advanced diplomas.
The primary purpose of HSE qualifications is to help individuals and organizations ensure that their workplaces are safe and healthy for employees and the environment. The qualifications cover various topics, including risk assessment, hazard identification, emergency response planning, environmental management, and occupational health and safety legislation.

To be eligible for applying, candidates must fulfill the following criteria:
Educational Qualifications and Experience:
Individual who has a Bachelor's Degree or a 3-year Diploma in any discipline from a recognized college or university.
OR
Individual having 2 years of experience in Safety, and who has passed his/her higher secondary or ITI or Diploma in any discipline with 160 hours of HSE training certification / NEBOSH IGC Level 3 certification.
The “TÜV SÜD Certified Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Manager” can perform the following functions in the manufacturing, construction and other relevant industries.
- Be a Health Safety and Environment Manager (HSE)
- Be a Health Safety and Environment Officer (HSE)
- Be a Health Safety and Environment Auditor (HSE)
- Be a Safety Consultant or HSE Consultant.
- Be a Trainer to Educate the Internal Workforce on HSE.
Candidates will be evaluated based on the assessment methodology mentioned in the scheme document of HSE qualification.
Candidates have to score 70% in all Modules Part A, B, C (Online MCQs) and Part D (Viva) to clear the qualification. If the score is < 70 in any one of the modules, then it is assumed that the candidate is not qualified. The candidate must undergo a re-assessment within six months in that specific module.

| Successful Candidates | - A certificate of Successful Completion for “TÜV SÜD Certified Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Manager” will be issued after meeting the passing criteria. - Certificate will be issued only to successful candidate (Soft and Hard Copy) - Duplicate certificates to replace those lost or damaged will only be issued after proper enquiries and referring the assessment records with the nominal fees. |

| Unsuccessful Candidates. | - Candidate who fails to meet the passing criteria may allow taking one re-test. If the candidate failed in the re-test, should apply with a fresh application and fees. - The assignment paper will not be repeated. - No certificate will be provided. |

| Special needs | Considerations:
Special consideration will not be given for the following circumstances: 1.Issues caused by the participants own actions e.g. hardware, software or internet-related problems due to the learner not complying 4.1 requirements 2.Issues caused by the participants not sufficiently preparing for the exam e.g. by not attending all the exam questions. |
CERTIFICATION
- A certificate of Successful Completion for “TÜV SÜD Certified Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Manager” will be issued after meeting the passing criteria.
- Certificate will be issued only to successful candidate (Soft and Hard Copy)
- Duplicate certificates to replace those lost or damaged will only be issued after proper enquiries and referring the assessment records with the nominal fees.
