What will you learn?
DSCI Certified Privacy Professional (DCPP) – in which the focus is on learning privacy as a subject from a multi-dimensional viewpoint. The curriculum helps students and working professionals understand various aspects of privacy – general concepts, laws & regulations, privacy principles, tools and technologies, etc., with a brief introduction to confidentiality in the organizational ecosystem – something the DCPLA program delves deeply into.
Course outline
The content of DCPP is more towards creating awareness or explaining all aspects of privacy as a subject to any individual. DCPP is ideal for anyone starting their career in privacy; it explains privacy principles, drivers, how contracts are drawn in this domain, and the critical data privacy laws worldwide (such as) the EU GDPR and the Privacy Shield between the EU and the US. DCPP certification involves taking the certification exam based on ten competency areas outlined under PBoK.

Any Privacy, Security and IT professionals, Lawyers, Compliance Officers, Information System & Security Auditors, Risk Professionals and Students from Engineering, Law and Humanities in final semester shall attend the course.

Examination & Certification
DCPP examinations are conducted online, in Pearson Vue test centers. For booking of the exams, please book your exam from the website of DSCI. Exam only has objective questions. There is a total of 75 questions distributed in 3 sections as mentioned below:
Total exam time for answering all the questions is 150 minutes. There is no separate sectional time limit. Candidates are advised to distribute time accordingly.
Important: The examination is completely regulated by DSCI. TÜV SÜD has no role in the same.
Certification
The certification will be valid for a period of 3 years from the date of issue of certificate.
