The main difference between BRC and BRCGS is the rebranding of the BRC standards. So, BRCGS is essentially the updated name for the same set of standards.
To obtain a BRCGS (BRC Global Standards) certificate, follow these key steps: Choose an accredited Certification Body, assess your facility's readiness, contact the chosen Certification Body for an audit, prepare your facility for the BRC certification process, and schedule the audit. During the audit, the Certification Body will assess compliance. Address any non-conformities promptly, and upon approval, receive your BRCGS certificate. Be aware that requirements may vary, so maintain communication with the Certification Body and expect regular surveillance audits to ensure ongoing compliance for BRC global standard certification.
