Hydrogen (H₂) is a special chemical element that can be used for many technologies. As an energy carrier that is ideally produced using renewable energy sources, hydrogen is a key component in the integration of renewable energies into our grids.
The employers' liability insurance association demands that companies sensitise their employees to the dangers of handling hydrogen. This applies to all employees - for example, not just mechanics in workshops, but also cleaning staff or office staff who could come into contact with the systems or vehicles.
This e-learning provides a comprehensive sensitisation. After the introduction to hydrogen, the focus is on hydrogen technologies and the associated hazards, as well as protective measures and occupational safety.
