Carl Hunt is a graduate from Plymouth University with a 2:1 BEng (Hons) in Electronic Engineering. Backed with industry rich experience, he comes with 3 years in manufacturing marine electronic communication and CCTV systems, and 2 years of OTA antenna performance testing, including CTIA test spec for PTCRB network acceptance and Apple WWi (MFi) accessory plans.
Hunt further went on to spend 10.5 years in technical and regulatory assistance working with sales and certification teams to ensure manufacturers take the ‘right’ approach for European and North American markets (Note: ‘right’ may mean cost efficient or required by market regulations).
This includes writing FCC/ISED/CE proposals for Radio, EMC, SAR, BTSIG, and REG services (such as RF Exposure/MPE, permissive changes, certifications, test efficiencies, EMC modes, module integration, etc.
