Technologies and Implementation
Industry 4.0 (I4.0) is not just about the technologies used in the location where products are made. An area of ambiguity is how I4.0 impacts warehouse operations. Organisations on their digital transformation journey need to look at their existing warehouse operations and transform them into smart warehouses (Warehouse 4.0) that are efficient, cost-effective to operate, and safe while achieving ultimate customer service and quality goals.
This course will introduce learners to the concept of I4.0, the Smart Industry Readiness Index (SIRI) framework, and the enabler technologies to transform a traditional warehouse into a Warehouse 4.0. Learners will learn about the opportunities and challenges a warehouse transformation entails and allows learners to relate learnings to the appropriate SIRI dimensions. The training also provides learners with industry use cases and best practices.
Duration: 1-day course
Language: English
Learners acquire knowledge on warehouse 4.0 applications, technologies, and benefits in the context of I4.0.
