About the workshop 

Functional safety is preventing or mitigating accidents by detecting potentially dangerous conditions and activating protective / corrective mechanisms. Functional safety is a method of dealing with hazards through.

This workshop is an introduction to IEC 61508. Based on our experience in Functional Safety and membership on the relevant standard bodies, we provide you with the necessary expertise in the cross-industry standard IEC 61508 2nd Edition.

A lucky attendee out the workshop will be able to join the full training course in Sept at 50% off to get a Functional Safety certificate with us at Singapore.

PRINCIPAL ENGINEER FOR FUNCTIONAL SAFETY AT TÜV SÜD

Mr Jack Gao started his career in exida managing, executing Product Certification projects and conducting training for Asia Pacific region per IEC 61508 standard. 
He has more than 10 years of experience in functional safety, automation control system and embedded software in different areas, including Industrie 4.0, Robots, machinery safety and process industry.
He is a Certified Functional Safety Expert since 2013. He has also published an IEEE paper on drone application and won awards from exida, Rockwell Automation, and Agilent Technologies
