Note:

  1. Theoretical Assessment Weightage: The question pattern is distributed in all the units during the assessment. It includes MCQ and case study or scenario type of questions together.
  2. Overall structure of question paper (Part A, B and C) can include Easy, Medium and Difficult levels as indicated below:
    Easy level: Remembering and Understanding – 30 % (MCQs )
    Medium level: Applying and Analyzing – 30% (MCQs)
    Difficult level: Evaluating and Creating – 40 % (Scenarios)

WHO SHOULD ATTEND? 

To be eligible for applying, candidates must fulfill the following criteria:

Educational Qualifications and Experience: 

1. Any Degree or Diploma of 3 years from recognised universities /colleges 
OR
2. Anyone who has passed the safety diploma of minimum of six months duration OR Anyone having minimum 2 years of working experience in Health, Safety and Environment

ASSESSMENT

Candidates will be evaluated based on the assessment methodology mentioned in the scheme document of HSE qualification. 

Candidates have to score 70% in all Modules Part A, B, C (Online MCQs) and Part D (Viva) to clear the qualification. If the score is < 70 in any one of the modules, then it is assumed that the candidate is not qualified. The candidate must undergo a re-assessment within six months in that specific module.

There is NO negative marking system applicable in the entire assessment.

 

Reference Material

 

- No course/ reference materials are allowed to refer during an assessment.

- No gadgets are allowed.

 

Declaration of results & its communication

 

- Results will be announced through email.

- Candidates will not be provided with copies of question papers and answer sheets.

 

Successful Candidates

- A certificate of Successful Completion for “TÜV SÜD Certified Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Manager” will be issued after meeting the passing criteria.

- Certificate will be issued only to successful candidate (Soft and Hard Copy)

- Duplicate certificates to replace those lost or damaged will only be issued after proper enquiries and referring the assessment records with the nominal fees.

 

Validity of certificate

Certificate has no expiry date.

Recertification

Not applicable

Unsuccessful Candidates.

 

- Candidate who fails to meet the passing criteria may allow taking one re-test. If the candidate failed in the re-test, should apply with a fresh application and fees.

- The assignment paper will not be repeated.

- No certificate will be provided.

- Successful Candidates: Certificate of Successful Completion as “TÜV SÜD Certified Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Manager”

 

Special needs

Considerations:

  1. Medium of exam: English
  2. Language: Participants can be given 30 minutes of additional time (if English is not the first language)
  3. Differently abled people: Not considered for the exam* considering this is Safety related scheme
  4. Reset: A free reset will only be offered to the participants if their performance has been impaired due to a significant technical problem.

 

Special consideration will not be given for the following circumstances:

1.Issues caused by the participants own actions e.g. hardware, software or internet-related problems due to the learner not complying 4.1 requirements

2.Issues caused by the participants not sufficiently preparing for the exam e.g. by not attending all the exam questions.

 

CERTIFICATION

  1. A certificate of Successful Completion for “TÜV SÜD Certified Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Manager” will be issued after meeting the passing criteria.
