Enabling safe and proper handling of Hydrogen
Enabling safe and proper handling of Hydrogen
21st - 24th Mar, 2023 I Hydrogen Safety Training Program I Duration: 4 days I Time: 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm IST
Sustainability and climate change needs to be acted upon fast. Achieving this means that we must change the way that energy is generated, stored, transported, and consumed. Hydrogen can be used in many different industry sectors and is an important energy vector which will help to reduce carbon emissions in mobility applications, industrial production processes and residential applications for heating and power supply. This flexibility makes hydrogen the ideal fuel for climate-neutral technologies.
Our hydrogen safety training program is built on in-depth knowledge of the opportunities and hazards related to hydrogen, especially in terms of mobility and industrial hydrogen usage. This experience means we understand the challenges that companies who use hydrogen face and can support you to ensure any applications are safe and comply with relevant regulations.
Module 1 - Introduction to Hydrogen
This module will provide a comprehensive introduction to hydrogen, hydrogen technologies and associated hazards, as well as protective measures and occupational health and safety in connection with hydrogen. The topics covered in this module are as below:
- The substance dreams are made of - or a little more.
- Properties of hydrogen and comparison with other fuels
- Risks when handling hydrogen
- Basics of explosion protection
