With emergence of COVID-19, use of hand sanitizer gained its importance as Hand hygiene is considered a primary measure for reducing and effective way of preventing  the risk of transmitting infections and there-fore now to meet the demand many industries may be mobilizing to produce hand sanitizer as new product line or industries already in proven track of manufacturing planned to increase the supply. • Composition check as per FDA /WHO guidelines.
• Evaluation of bactericidal activity as per EN 1276.
• Evaluation of fungicidal activity as per EN 1650.
• Evaluation of non-porous surface test for the evaluation of bactericidal and/or fungicidal activity as per EN 13697.
• Evaluation of sporicidal activity as per EN 13704.
• Other test includes preservative efficacy test /Time kill studies.
