The PCI Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) issued version 4.0 of the PCI Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) on March 31, 2022. PCI DSS v4.0 replaces PCI DSS version 3.2.1 to address emerging threats and technologies better and provide innovative ways to combat new threats.

Mr. Bhatnagar, Associate Director, PCI Security Standards Council leads the Council’s efforts in increasing adoption and awareness of the PCI Security Standards in India. In this role, Mr. Bhatnagar works closely with the PCI Council Management Team, Payment brands, Assessors community, Participating organisation, Government entities and Regulators. Mr. Bhatnagar has been working in payment security domain for close to a decade and half and has been recently recognised amongst “Top 50 Cyber Security Leaders of India 2021”. He has been constantly part of Research and Development around role of new emerging technologies i.e. Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), in protecting payment infrastructure from sophisticated cyber attacks.

Mr. Srivastava carries over 14 years of experience in IT & BFSI sector. His professional qualificaions includes PCI QSA, CISA, CDPSE, ISO27001 Lead Auditor, ISO27001 Lead Implementer, CEH and also having hands-on experience on various security solution including SIEM, DLP, Firewall, WAF, Antivirus & EDR solutions. He has a proficieny in multiple globally recognized standards & regulations including PCI DSS, GDPR, Singapore PDPA, ISO27001, ITIL & HIPPA.  Mr. Srivastava has delivered multiple IT audit, consulting and training projects. His prime clientele includes Financial organisations, Insurance companies, BPO and Oil & Gas companies in India, China and Middle East region.
