Predictive Maintenance: Smart Maintenance Strategies and Methods

Predictive maintenance – proactive maintenance – goes hand in hand with increasing digitalisation in all branches of industry. Particularly in cost-driven industrial sectors and in a challenging market environment, it has now established itself as a key maintenance strategy or – in combination with other strategies – is the preferred choice for critical components. Thanks to intelligent sensor technology and sophisticated data analysis, understanding of one's own machinery is growing, and experienced maintenance engineers rave about the reliability, increased resilience and availability of their processes that they have gained.
With its Predictive Maintenance conference, TÜV SÜD provides a forum for learning about the latest state of the art, to facilitate exchange between experts from the chemical and process industries and the energy sector, and to benefit from the success stories as well as the setbacks and missteps of colleagues in the introduction of clever maintenance strategies. The participants and the technical committee of the conference include leading maintenance managers in Germany, who are happy to share their experience and knowledge.
The focus will be on sharing practical experience – which predictive maintenance approaches and methodologies have been used, which modern monitoring, diagnostic and testing methods have been employed, and how these can be further improved.
The conference language is German
