Emergency power and prime power in data centers and critical infrastructure

Data centers and critical infrastructures are at the heart of the digital society— their continuous power supply is essential for the economy, administration, and security. The requirements for reliability, efficiency, and sustainability are constantly growing. At the same time, legal frameworks, new standards and innovative technologies are fundamentally changing the planning, implementation and operation of emergency power and prime power systems.
The new TÜV SÜD symposium brings together experts from the fields of technology, planning, Operation and regulation to discuss current developments, technical solutions and regulatory requirements. The focus will be on topics such as the implementation of EN 50600 and NIS2, BImSchG approvals, exhaust and noise emissions, the use of alternative fuels, requirements for UPS systems and the contribution to grid stability. Ecological aspects such as CO₂ reduction and sustainable energy supply concepts also play a central role.
Please note: the conference language is German only.
