Driving sustainable transformation for both present and future generations
Driving sustainable transformation for both present and future generations
TÜV SÜD is an Approved Training Provider which administers the Certified Consumer Sustainability Industry Readiness Index (COSIRI) Assessor Programme on behalf of the International Centre for Industrial Transformation (INCIT). INCIT is a World Economic Forum-backed independent non-profit organisation that aims to drive the sustainable transformation of global industry sectors.
The Certified COSIRI Assessor (CCA) Training programme conducted by TÜV SÜD provides industry professionals with the relevant insights and skills to become a Certified COSIRI Assessor.
The curriculum covers sustainable manufacturing, COSIRI’s various frameworks and tools, business consulting, and an in-depth look at the methodology for conducting an Official COSIRI Assessment.
This course targets individuals who are keen to start, scale, and sustain their sustainable manufacturing transformation journeys – regardless of size or industry.
The COSIRI Assessor Certification Scheme maintains the integrity and consistency of the COSIRI Assessment by ensuring the proficiency of the CCA.
In addition to having attended the training course, candidates will be required to meet certain prerequisites, such as having relevant manufacturing and consulting work experience, before being eligible to sit for the CCA Examination which is conducted by INCIT.
The Official COSIRI Assessment (OCA) is a 2-3 days workshop which aims to guide companies in capturing their sustainability efforts.
Using the Consumer Sustainability Industry Readiness Index (COSIRI) framework, manufacturers will be assessed on 24 sustainability dimensions, spanning across four fundamental building blocks of sustainability: Strategy and Risk Management, Sustainable Business Processes, Technology, and Organisation and Governance. An additional focus area on Green House Gas (GHG) Emissions is included to address the increasing importance of GHG reporting required by regulators and stakeholders.
The OCA serves as a tool for companies to understand the sustainability maturity of their organisation, benchmark themselves against industry peers and identify high impact areas to focus on.
