Industry 4.0 (I4.0) is a concept that was started and coined in 2011. Over the past decade, this concept is turning into reality as companies, big and small, explore transforming their production shop floors into I4.0 ready shop floors. However, I4.0 entails more than just the location where products are made. It is a holistic approach to transform manufacturers’ Process, Technology, and Organisation to start, scale, and sustain their transformation journey. The pace of I4.0 adoption is uneven across different industries, with companies both globally and locally grappling with the concept of I4.0 and the value it could bring.
This course provides learners with fundamental knowledge of the Smart Industry Readiness Index (SIRI) and the application of its framework and tools to help organisations embark on their first step in the I4.0 transformation. It also serves as a foundation for learners interested in taking up the Certified SIRI Assessor training course.

Learners acquire knowledge and a fundamental understanding of SIRI, its frameworks, and tools.
Participants will learn through lectures, case studies, group exercises and discussions.
