ABOUT THE TRAINING COURSE

With the new era of Industry 4.0, manufacturing and process industry has seen a wide range of acceptance for the new technologies – starting from Industry automation to data acquisition and ultimately implementing data-driven technologies to realize various levels of benefits. With these new technologies coming in, it is evident that not all user groups are at the same level of understanding. 

Industry 4.0, which combines digital and physical advanced technologies, can potentially transform the chemicals industry, itself the backbone of many end-market industries. Through the dual areas of business operations and growth, these technologies enable "smart" supply chains and factories, as well as create new business models.

To combat this, TÜV SÜD & Tridiagonal solutions has created a training program focused on minimizing the gap between the tech heavy solutions and plant Engineering and operators.

This hands-on training and certification program is structured such a way that, Participant can avail program independently as modules or as combined together.

    Candidates should be able to:
    o Outline and describe the key steps in the consulting process:
    o Diagnosing the problem
    o Formulating the problem statement
    o Analysing the problem
    o Developing the model

    o Proposing recommendations
    o Assisting with implementation
  • Creating Business value
    o Candidate should be able to create a business case – for showcasing the ROI, business impact and chemical 4.0 implementation strategy

  • 60 hours (Open Literature and shared reference contents – data and python codes)

  • Templates for problem solving
  • Demonstration of used cases on Seeq
  • Case Studies for practice

WHAT IS THE COURSE METHODOLOGY?

Participants will learn through lectures, case studies, group exercises and discussions.

Exam: Theory (MCQs) & Practical - 1.5 hr

WHO SHOULD TAKE THE COURSE?

Relevant Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (“STEM”) subjects, including but not limited to:

  • Chemical Engineering/ Computer Science/
  • Electrical Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/
  • Information and Communications Technology/
  • Mathematics/ Physics

Work Experience:

  • At least 3 years of job experience relating to process/production or quality control
  • Domain Expertise: At least 4 years of job experience relating to the manufacturing sector.
  • Fundamentals of Python
