Overview of Functional Safety Certification Program (FSCP) according to EN 5012x - EN 50126, EN  50129 and EN 50128

Functional Safety in the rail industry in Middle East is important to mitigate risk of malfunctioning of railway systems, so that there is minimum or no loss of man or material in the process of movement. Railways, have a complex network as they are widespread and the system that runs the railways also has complex functions. In order to ensure functional safety for the rail industry, the participant companies need to have good functional safety training and certification for their professionals to understand the processes necessary for their role in the safety life cycle. The professionals in participating companies need to be given training in functional safety for the Rail industry as they are responsible for reducing safety risks to an acceptance level, including hazards.
