Intermediate Food Hygiene training is a qualification aimed at supervisors, team leaders, line managers working in the Food industries. The qualification is also suitable for those owning/managing smaller food businesses.
This qualification will ensure that persons at management level know their responsibilities regarding food safety management. The qualification will ensure that candidates are trained in Persons gaining this qualification will know and be able to apply the knowledge relating to the supervisors role at all stages of food production including: purchase, delivery, storage, preparation, processing, packing, transportation and handling of food. They will understand the role of the supervisor in food processing be able to provide examples of effective supervisory management relating to food production. All the subjects included in the course are important to maintaining good practices in the production of safe food.
