BCMS protects organisations from long term risks and is one the most critical components of the recovery strategy. This comprehensive five-day course comprises of case studies, training and role-plays to ensure that participants thoroughly understand the role of an auditor / lead auditor and acquire the expertise needed to perform effective audits.

This course is an interactive course which will enable the candidates to understand ISO 22301:2019 in-depth through the “Accelerated Learning Model”. Topics to be covered in this course include:
• BCMS concepts and ISO 22301 standard
• Auditing principles
• Roles and responsibility of auditors
• Planning an audit
• Conducting an audit
• Reporting audit results
• Corrective actions
• Examination
• Experts who have a role to play in the implementation of Business Continuity Management System
• Operations core group members responsible for establishing, implementing, maintaining, auditing and improving Business Continuity Management Systems
• Internal or External Business continuity Management System Auditors
• Business Continuity, Information Security, Risk professionals, IT and Operations managers or consultants who seek to master the Business continuity Management System audit process
Five (5) Days (40 Hours)
Participants are expected to have prior knowledge on:
Management systems - Understand the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle
Business Continuity Management (Principle & Concept)
• Awareness of the need for Business Continuity and components of Business Continuity
• Responsibilities for Business Continuity
• Using the results of Business Impact Analysis and Risk Assessments to determine appropriate Business Continuity strategies and incident response structure
• Continual re-assessment of information security and making of modifications as appropriate

This course is not for filling gaps in the knowledge about the standard; but for enhancing the knowledge about the same with regards to audit context.
Participants will be assessed throughout the course for punctuality, presentation skills, interactive approach, involvement, role-play, daily tests etc. and finally through a written examination at the end of the course. The examination is ‘closed book’ and only a copy of the standard ISO 22301:2019 is permissible.
• The passing criteria: 70%
• TÜV SÜD Middle East as Approved Training Partner of CQI IRCA fulfills all compliances of the course PR363: BCMS ISO 22301:2019 Lead Auditor
• Participants who will score 70% and above in both the continuous assessment and written examination will be issued an CQI (Charted Quality Institute) & IRCA (International Register of Certificated Auditors) registered certificate on successful completion of the course
• Participants who successfully complete the course will also be presented with the CQI-IRCA (International Register of Certificated Auditors) registered ‘Certificate of Achievement’ once TÜV SÜD is awarded with the accreditation from CQI IRCA
• Participants who are not able to qualify for the passing certificate, will be issued a certificate of attendance from TÜV SÜD Middle East
