With over twenty years of experience in sustainability, he supports businesses in achieving their ethical business and responsible sourcing objectives through verification, assurance, and certification activities. Alberto is an APSCA-certified social auditor and leads the SMETA service at TÜV SÜD at divisional level. He has extensive experience in sustainability-related contractual assurance, auditing, and certification programmes, as well as managing international projects and standards. Over the years, Alberto has developed particular expertise in sustainable procurement and supplier auditing. Currently, within TÜV SÜD’s Business Assurance Division, he holds global responsibility for the development and coordination of services related to Social and Supplier Auditing as well as Sustainable Procurement.
