Paula Pias Peleteiro joins top management team at TÜV SÜD Industrie Service GmbH

Paula Pias Peleteiro has been appointed to the top management team of TÜV SÜD Industrie Service GmbH. She will assume responsibility for the business areas of plant safety, energy and systems, and environmental technology. TÜV SÜD Industrie Service GmbH supplies needs-based engineering, testing, and inspection services for the safety, cost-efficiency, and sustainability of systems, infrastructure installations, and buildings.

Before moving to TÜV SÜD, Paula Pias Peleteiro worked at the Gases Division of Linde GmbH as Executive Director Operations & Services Europe West. She and her teams were responsible for areas including system and process efficiency and reliability, asset management, energy management including decarbonization strategy, and supply chain optimization. From 2006, Ms Pias Peleteiro occupied a variety of management positions at the Linde Group and oversaw key projects and processes in business development and in the operational and strategic sectors. A chemical engineering graduate, she holds degrees from the Universities of Santiago de Compostela (Spain) and Karlsruhe (Germany) as well as an MBA from the London Business School.

In the four-strong executive team at TÜV SÜD Industrie Service, Paula Pias Peleteiro will be responsible for the business areas of plant safety, energy and systems, and environmental technology. “I am especially excited about the enormous breadth of the services we offer to a wide range of industries and about our company’s clear-cut future orientation, as evidenced in areas such as renewable energy sources, cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, and sustainability,” says the new management board member. “Beyond this, I believe there is still great potential for fostering internal collaboration within TÜV SÜD at both local and international level. I am convinced by our company culture, which is reflected in our employees’ strong identification with their tasks and in their dedication to our customers’ needs.”

Alongside CEO Ferdinand Neuwieser and his management colleagues Thomas Kainz and Simon Kellerer, Paula Pias Peleteiro will continue to guide TÜV SÜD Industrie Service GmbH along its successful course and drive the company’s development of innovative services and efficient processes. “I am immensely looking forward to working with Paula Pias Peleteiro,” says Ferdinand Neuwieser. “Bringing her experience in the process industry and from numerous collaborations and international projects to the table, she will be an excellent complement to our team and will further advance our joint work.”
