TUEV SUED tops brand value ranking in CCAA 2022 Report on High-Quality Development of Cert Bodies

28 February 2024

China Certification and Accreditation Association (CCAA) has released its “2022 Report on the High-Quality Development of Certification Bodies” (hereinafter referred to as the ”Report“). The report comprehensively evaluates the testing, inspection, and certification industry in six categories, including quality, innovation, brand value, efficiency, social responsibility, and reputation of certification. TÜV SÜD Greater China has achieved excellent results in several of these categories, including first place in the evaluation of brand value and efficiency. This demonstrates that the market recognizes the brand value of TÜV SÜD and that TÜV SÜD’s testing, inspection, and certification business has made a positive contribution to society.

The Report, which has been published by CCAA since 2017, aggregates a large amount of official statistics, corporate financial reports, and other information, thereby providing comprehensive official data on certification operations. By doing so it comprehensively and impartially reflects the overall level of development and effectiveness of the work of China's certification bodies for many consecutive years.

TÜV SÜD has been represented in China for more than 30 years, continuously exploring and innovating its services and playing the role of a TIC solution provider in the process of the “China National 3060 Goal". By late 2023, TÜV SÜD Greater China had issued more than 200 certificates related to carbon management and had been awarded the qualification of "Zero Carbon Factory" evaluation and certification service organization by the China Energy Conservation Association (CECA). Ranking among the top 1 percent of the most sustainable companies in the world, TÜV SÜD has been awarded the Platinum Award in the EcoVadis Global CSR Rating and will continue to provide high-quality sustainability services to domestic enterprises in the future.
