Acoustic measurements

Heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigerating (HVAC/R) systems and units as well as household appliances such as coffee machines, pressure washers, hand mixers and other consumer goods produce acoustic emission. In order to protect people and the environment against excessive noise, manufacturers need to fulfil numerous legal requirements and limits for the equipment and devices.

In TÜV SÜD, our acoustic measurement experts are able to ensure that your products are in compliance with the relevant acoustic limits. Our laboratory applies technical acoustic measurement techniques and methods. In addition, acoustic measurement data can be used to develop noise-reducing measures.
