哥斯大黎加電信監管機構 SUTEL（Superintendencia de Telecomunicaciones）已更新其行動裝置型式認證的相關規範。
其中一項重大變更為：正式規範針對 5G SA（Standalone）設備於 N78 頻段（3500 MHz）運作的測試要求。所有支援 5G N78 頻段之新認證申請案，皆須依據最新版測試規範執行測試並提交結果。

此規範自2025年9月1日起生效。
The Costa Rican telecommunications regulatory authority, SUTEL (Superintendencia de Telecomunicaciones), has issued an update to its type approval testing requirements for mobile devices.
One of the key changes is the official implementation of testing requirements for 5G SA (Standalone) devices operating on the N78 band (3500 MHz).
All new type approval applications for devices supporting the 5G N78 band must now follow the latest testing standards and provide corresponding test results.
Key Requirements:
Testing must be conducted by a recognized and qualified test laboratory
The test must utilize officially approved RF scripts, and be conducted with a local carrier SIM or eSIM

This regulation has been in effect since September 1, 2025.
