澳洲：ACMA發布《2025年客戶設備與客戶佈線標籤通知》
澳洲通訊與媒體管理局（ACMA）已於2025年3月31日正式發布《2025年客戶設備與客戶佈線標籤通知》（Telecommunications (Labelling Notice for Customer Equipment and Customer Cabling) Instrument 2025），以取代原定於2025年4月1日自動失效的2015年版本。
該通知旨在維持對特定客戶設備和佈線的測試、標籤和記錄保存要求，並引入以下主要變更：
- 允許製造商或進口商在其網站上提供顯示電子標籤的方法資訊
- 將標籤通知中的規定與《2021年無線電設備（一般）規則》中的相應要求對齊，包括國家資料庫、誰可以申請標籤以及保持電子合規記錄的規定
- 移除標籤通知中的檢查和審計權限，因為可以依賴《1997年電信法》中的現有檢查權限
- 移除對手持設備的豁免，以明確所有手持設備都受到監管
- 移除對某些佈線項目的標籤豁免，並為目前豁免標籤的供應商提供一年的過渡期
- 更新和更正對其他文書或文件的引用
Australia: ACMA Issues the Telecommunications (Labelling Notice for Customer Equipment and Customer Cabling) Instrument 2025
The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) officially issued the Telecommunications (Labelling Notice for Customer Equipment and Customer Cabling) Instrument 2025 on March 31, 2025, replacing the 2015 version, which was scheduled to sunset on April 1, 2025.
This new instrument maintains the testing, labeling, and record-keeping requirements for certain customer equipment and customer cabling, while introducing key changes, including:
- Allowing manufacturers or importers to provide information on how to display an electronic label via their websites
- Aligning the labelling notice requirements with the Radiocommunications Equipment (General) Rules 2021, including provisions relating to the national database, authorized labeling applicants, and maintenance of electronic compliance records
- Removing the inspection and audit powers from the labelling notice, as existing inspection powers under the Telecommunications Act 1997 are sufficient
- Removing the exemption for handheld devices, making it clear that all handheld equipment is regulated
- Removing certain labelling exemptions for wiring products, with a one-year transitional period provided for current suppliers
- Updating and correcting references to other legislative instruments or documents.
