沙烏地阿拉伯：施行新規範加強無線電業務及頻譜使用管理

2025年1月23日，沙烏地通訊與資訊技術委員會（CST）正式公布並施行《無線電業務及應用頻譜審批條例》。

該條例為沙烏地阿拉伯境內的無線電頻譜使用建立了法律與技術框架，旨在確保頻譜分配與使用的高效性及無干擾性，同時促進無線電通信服務與應用的發展。

該條例適用於所有在沙烏地阿拉伯境內使用無線電設備的企業，包括電信運營商、廣播公司、海事與航空服務提供者、無線網絡以及業餘無線電服務。所有企業在使用無線電頻率前，必須獲得相應許可證。

監管機構將負責監控頻譜使用情況，並對違規行為採取相應處罰措施。

該條例已於2025年1月23日正式生效。

Saudi Arabia: Enforces New Regulations on Radio Services and Spectrum Utilization"

On January 23, 2025, the Communications, Space & Technology Commission (CST) officially issued and enforced the Radio Services and Spectrum Utilization Licensing Regulations.

This regulation establishes a legal and technical framework for the use of radio spectrum in Saudi Arabia, aiming to ensure efficient, interference-free spectrum allocation and utilization, while supporting the development of radio communication services and applications.

The regulation applies to all entities operating radio equipment in Saudi Arabia, including telecommunications operators, broadcasters, maritime and aviation service providers, wireless networks, and amateur radio services. All entities must obtain a license before using radio frequencies.

Regulatory authorities will monitor spectrum usage and enforce penalties for non-compliance.
The regulation officially came into effect on January 23, 2025.
