斯里蘭卡電信管理委員會（TRCSL）於2025年1月6日宣布將引入IMEI註冊系統。自2025年1月29日起，只有經TRCSL註冊的IMEI設備才能接入本地網路。
The Telecommunications Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka (TRCSL) announced on January 6, 2025, the introduction of an IMEI registration system. Starting from January 29, 2025, only devices with IMEI numbers registered with TRCSL will be able to access local networks.
