新加坡資訊通信媒體發展局（IMDA）宣布了一項針對短訊服務（SMS）SIM Box的新管制措施，也被稱為GSM調制解調器池或SMS網關。自2025年2月1日起，具有五個或更多SIM卡插槽的SMS SIM Box將被歸類為禁止電信設備，未經IMDA事先批准不得進口。
The Info-communications Media Development Authority (IMDA) has announced new measures to regulate the sale of Short Message Service (SMS) SIM Boxes, also referred to as GSM Modem Pools or SMS Gateways. Starting from February 1, 2025, SMS SIM Boxes with five or more SIM card slots will be classified as prohibited telecommunication equipment and cannot be imported without prior approval from IMDA.
