馬來西亞：5G網絡從單一批發網絡模式過渡到雙網絡模式

2024年12月31日，馬來西亞通訊與多媒體委員會（MCMC）發布了一項有關5G網絡實施的指令，並撤銷了2021年第3號指令，該指令涉及5G基礎設施和網絡的部署。

馬來西亞政府已決定對現有的5G單一批發網絡模式進行強化，並逐步過渡到5G雙網絡模式。

根據2024年第1號指令（關於700MHz和3.5GHz頻段的第二運營商的部長指令），委員會已完成對5G雙網絡實施的潛在部署計劃的評估。

因此，有關5G基礎設施和網絡部署的部長指令（2021年第3號指令）已正式撤銷。

Malaysia: 5G Network Transition from Single Wholesale to Dual Network Model

On December 31, 2024, the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) issued a Ministerial Direction regarding the implementation of the 5G network and the revocation of Direction No. 3 of 2021, which pertained to the deployment of 5G infrastructure and network.

The Government of Malaysia has decided to enhance the existing 5G single wholesale network model and transition it to a 5G dual network model.

In accordance with the Ministerial Direction on second carriers for the 700MHz and 3.5GHz frequency bands (Direction No. 1 of 2024), the Commission has completed its evaluation of potential deployment plans for the implementation of the 5G dual network.

Consequently, the Ministerial Direction on the Deployment of 5G Infrastructure and Network (Direction No. 3 of 2021) has been officially revoked.
