Bahrain: Bahrain Ministry of Industry and Commerce issued Resolution No. 87 of 2024
On November 29, 2024, the Bahrain Ministry of Industry and Commerce issued Resolution No. 87 of 2024, which includes a list of 209 national standards being adopted, including:
- GSO 2737:2024 Electronic devices used as alternatives to tobacco products.
- GSO 2738:2024 Electric washing machines – Energy and water performance requirements.
- GSO IEC 60034-18-1:2024 Rotating electrical machines – Part 18-1: Functional evaluation of insulation systems – General guidelines.
- GSO IEC 60034-9:2024 Rotating electrical machines – Part 9: Noise limits.
- GSO IEC 60095-4:2024 Lead-acid starter batteries – Part 4: Dimensions of batteries for heavy vehicles.
