Dr. Johannes Bussmann

Johannes Bussmann was born in 1969 in Osterwick, Germany. He has a diploma degree in aerospace engineering and a doctorate in engineering with a focus on combustion engineering, both from the University of Aachen.
Johannes Bussmann started his professional career in 1998 as a product engineer at ABB in Mannheim, Germany. In 1999, he joined Lufthansa Technik in Hamburg, Germany, working as a development engineer in Product Management and Development. He held several senior management positions at Lufthansa Technik based in Germany and Singapore before he became member of the Executive Board of Lufthansa Technik AG in September 2012. He initially headed the Executive Board department of Human Resources, Engine & VIP Services and was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Executive Board of Lufthansa Technik AG in April 2015.
Since January 2023, Johannes Bussmann has been appointed as Chairman of the Board of Management at TÜV SÜD AG.
Sabine Nitzsche

Sabine Nitzsche was born in 1972 in Dresden, Germany; she studied business administration at the Dresden University of Applied Sciences.
Sabine Nitzsche began her professional career at Infineon in 1994, where she held various positions in purchasing and project management before taking on commercial and strategic management positions at the Advanced Mask Technology Center between 2003 and 2011. From 2011 to 2021, she worked at the US semiconductor company GlobalFoundries, most recently as CFO for the EMEA region. Between 2021 and 2023, she was Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Executive Vice President of the automotive business segment for Infineon. Before joining TÜV SÜD, Sabine Nitzsche was CFO and member of the Executive Board at Vitesco Technologies.
Since March 2025, Sabine Nitzsche has been appointed as Member of the Board of Management and CFO at TÜV SÜD AG.
Ishan Palit

Ishan Palit was born in 1968 in Mumbai, India. He studied in the USA and the UK, and holds a Bachelors Degree from Davidson College, USA, a General Degree in Economics from the London School of Economics, UK and a Masters in Business Administration from Georgia Southern University, USA.
Ishan Palit started his career with the American multinational “Rotary Corporation”, a supplier to the Automotive and Small Engine industry. He joined the TÜV SÜD Group in 1994 and founded the TÜV SÜD operations in India. As COO and then the CEO, he was responsible for the successful development of TÜV SÜD Asia Pacific and was subsequently promoted to CEO of the Global Product Service Division. Ishan Palit was appointed as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the TÜV SÜD Group in May 2017, responsible for operations and sales across all Divisions and geographies.
