The Commission of the European Union (EU) has begun 2019 by issuing a flurry of new regulations amending its maximum residue levels (MRLs) for a number of pesticides found in foods and food products.
In seven separate regulations issued between January 11 and January 24, the Commission amended the Annexes in Regulations (EC) No 396/2005 that stipulate pesticide MRLs. The 30 individual pesticides addressed in these new regulations include:
