From 1 November 2020, additional limits for carcinogenic, mutagenic and reprotoxic (CMR) substances will apply in addition to the restrictions on certain harmful substances in textiles and footwear already existing in the EU. How to deal with these additional requirements in quality management is the focus of this webinar. Dr. Benedikt Hendan
Product Specialist Chemical and Softlines Testing, Technical Competence Centre (TCC)
Dr Benedikt Hendan is responsible for supporting TÜV SÜD’s sales, lab and certification teams with his expertise in chemical safety and softlines testing. Daily, he provides information and training on legal regulation, standards and testing methods.
He is member of ISO, CEN and DIN committees for standardization of chemical testing on textiles, leather and footwear and for safety of children’s clothing. Furthermore, he is the representative of TÜV SÜD in several working groups of cads cooperation and other associations.
Benedikt holds a Doctor of Natural Sciences degree in Chemistry from the University of Paderborn, Germany.
